After contributing to the growth and success of several organizations during the last 20 years, Silvio brings his experiences and capabilities to Keller Williams First in NY as the Director of Commercial Real Estate. His prior experience includes executive leadership roles with responsibility for the strategy and execution of businesses with teams as large as 350 employees and revenues in excess of $75M+ annually. An area of focus in his career has been leading business and digital transformations in environments of ever increasing rate of change. Results have always been achieved with a deliberate focus on creating strong employee cultures and outstanding customer experiences. Throughout his career as a business leader in a variety of roles including large regional and national sales organizations, as well as, business unit operations, he’s sharpened an ability to problem-solve complex issues and create unique solutions with a focus on profitable outcomes.

After graduating college with a degree in economics in 1979, I came home to run the family business, which I have successfully done for 38+ years. The business required purchasing a lot of real estate and I soon found my passion. In 1996, I became partners with a land specialist and worked exclusively as a developer and site locator, taking the raw product through the approval process for many residential and commercial projects. In 2016, I had the good fortune to become an owner/investor in Keller Williams with 100+ agents in my office and 150,000 worldwide. I personally have done over $150,000,000 in lifetime sales. I have the expertise and support staff to help you with any type of real estate.

Licensed at age 18, since 1977, became a broker/owner in 1989, formed my own Independent Company, CSA Realty Group in 1990. Purchased the first Keller Williams Realty Franchise in New York State in 2003 and became the Franchise’s first Operating Principal in New York, and I continue in that role today. I’ve served on the local, state, and national levels for our industry; am a past president of our Board of Realtors, MLS, and advisor for the National Association of Realtors in various roles throughout my career. I was awarded the prestigious Realtor of the Year Award in 2002, and continued to serve as a Director of our current Board of Realtors through 2016. I’ve also served on several non-profit organization boards throughout the Hudson Valley Region.
Born in Brooklyn, and moved to Orange County in 1971. Graduated from Pace University in Manhattan in 1981, BBA in Public Accounting. I’ve spent over 40 years working in various roles in the Real Estate industry. My main focus has been Commercial, Land Development, and New Construction Sales. Recently, I was awarded a Lifetime Achievement Award from the NY State Commercial Association of Realtors and was recognized by the National Association of Realtors with their prestigious Realtor Emeritus Designation. I continue to train, consult, and coach Real Estate professionals, as well as work in the field generating business from generational clients.
Peter Berman, the force behind several successful companies in diverse industries, personifies an entrepreneurial spirit. Having grown up in and around the construction industry, he started his career as a third-generation builder/developer and project manager. He applied the skills learned from his family's construction company as a founding partner of an investment firm with a diverse portfolio. This foundational expertise gives Pete’s clients a tremendous advantage when evaluating a diverse range of commercial properties.
By investing his time, money, and expertise in new business ventures, Peter has developed top-line business growth while driving bottom-line value as a hands-on investor and operator. In 2016, he was a founding member of the Hudson Valley Startup Fund, committing in excess of $1 million to be invested in local businesses at their earliest stages. His diversified personal investments include The Equilibrium Brewery, an award-winning startup recognized by NY State Economic Development; leading the expansion of Phenix Salon Suites as the first franchisee in the Northeast; and pioneering the Aqua-Tots Swim School franchise in New Jersey, with his first location becoming one of the top three in the country. Pete’s wide range of business experience benefits his clients as he focuses on generalized commercial assets in the Hudson Valley from NYC to Albany. While each property classification is unique the generalist is able to translate the best practices and knowledge across all commercial property classes.
Pete continues to work in the real estate industry as a trusted Commercial Real Estate Broker, putting together deals and representing clients with his extensive experience and business acumen. A lifelong learner, Peter holds an MBA from Mount St. Mary and has a long history of educating others as a published author and a frequent lecturer for Violand Management, the NAHB University of Housing, and the American Institute of Architects (AIA). Education and experience empower Pete to be a trustworthy advocate for his clients and a negotiator that can get the deal done!
