Douglas Mason

Ever since Doug was in high school, he had no clue what he was going to do for a career. One day his mother suggested that he should go into accounting. After taking the bait and he ended up taking several accounting courses in high school and then majoring in accounting in college. While in college he landed an internship at a small accounting firm and eventually was brought on as a full-time employee after graduation. While at the firm Doug prepared tax returns and financial statements and focused heavily on audit work for not-for-profit organizations. After working at the small public accounting firm for 7 years he was promoted to Senior Accountant and decided that it was time to move on to the private sector. Doug’s accounting career was heavily focused on the not-for-profit sector until he decided to shift paths and expand his skills in other areas. For that reason, he was attracted to Keller Williams as it is a place to grow skills in so many ways.
